Early Childhood Mental Health Program is a highly respected non-profit agency that provides mental health services to young children and their families in West Contra Costa County. The CTP Program Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the CTP program including ensuring clients receive clinically appropriate and culturally attuned services in the context of the milieu, supervision of the Teacher/Therapists; ensuring compliance with Community Care Licensing standards; budget and procurement oversight; and other duties consistent with program management. This position qualifies as providing services to children and families for those who are seeking licensure.

  • Master’s degree in social welfare, psychology, counseling, or a related field, or comparable experience as determined by the Director of Mental Health Programs.
  • Two years minimum experience in a leadership position in a preschool classroom. (head teacher, site supervisor, director etc.)
  • Eligible for licensure by either the California Board of Behavioral Science or the California Board of Psychology.
  • Two years’ experience providing mental health services to children under six years of age (may be fulfilled by classroom experience in a day treatment or similar program).
  • Holder of a California driver’s license in good standing and access to a reliable automobile with the legally required minimum insurance coverage. Ability to drive safely between school and office settings.
  • Must submit to fingerprinting and be cleared by the California Department of Justice and the FBI for criminal and child abuse background checks.
  • Working knowledge of child development, trauma, attachment theory, psychodynamic theory
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet all Medi-Cal documentation and agency productivity requirements

Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
