Driving from points south, north, east of Richmond. Other directions, BART or bus.
The Family Center of Early Childhood Mental Health Program is in Richmond, California, in Contra Costa County, on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, approximately 15 miles from San Francisco.
- It is only 5 blocks from Interstate 80 in an active commercial neighborhood
- Parking in our lot or on the street is free
- Business hours are 8:30 to 5, Monday through Friday
- Evening hours are by appointment

Driving from San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley or points SOUTH of Richmond
- Take Interstate 80 north toward Sacramento.
- Stay on I-80 until Macdonald Avenue exit in Richmond.
- Head west on Macdonald 5 blocks.
- Our Family Center is on the right (northeast corner of Macdonald and 41st Street).
- Turn right onto 41st. Entrance is the last door on the 41st Street side of the building.
- Please do not try to enter from the front, where our classroom is located.
Driving from Vallejo, Crockett, Pinole, or points NORTH of Richmond
- Take Interstate 80 South toward Oakland.
- In Richmond, take the San Pablo Avenue/Barrett Avenue exit (not San Pablo Dam Road). Turn right onto Barrett Avenue.
- Turn left on 41st. The Family Center is 2 blocks away on your left (the northeast corner of Macdonald and 41st Street).
- Entrance is last door on the 41st Street side of the building. Please do not try to enter the front of the building where our classroom is located.
Driving from Martinez, Concord, or other points EAST of Richmond
- Take Highway 4 West to Interstate 80 and then follow the instructions for those coming from the NORTH.
