Child Care Solutions

If you are a day care teacher or provider who is dealing with a difficult child and your program is in any part of West Contra Costa County, you can take advantage of this free mental health consultation. The consultants of Child Care Solutions are mental health specialists who are experienced classroom teachers too and who understand how difficult it can be to deal with an emotionally disturbed child in a classroom setting. These services are free to center-based programs as well as to family day care providers. Counseling and referral is also offered to parents.

For Mothers in Substance Abuse Treatment

BTS Works is a program that offers mental health treatment for children of mothers who live in nonprofit substance abuse treatment residences or attend substance abuse treatment day programs in West Contra Costa County. Access to these services is limited to children who are already enrolled in the substance abuse treatment agencies.
